Little Steps ("we," "us," "our") operates the website littlesteps.one, offering digital PDF parenting guides for purchase and download (the "Products") to customers in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada.

2. Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made through littlesteps.one by customers located in the United States, United Kingdom, or Canada. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

3. Products

We sell digital PDF guides on parenting topics. All Products are delivered exclusively in digital form, no physical goods are shipped. Product descriptions, page counts, and cover images are illustrative; minor formatting differences may occur across devices.

4. Contract Formation

  • Displaying a Product on our site is an invitation to order, not a binding offer from us.
  • Completing checkout and payment constitutes your offer to purchase.
  • The contract is formed when we confirm your order (typically via automatic email and/or immediate download access).

5. Prices, Payment, and Taxes

  • All prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout.
  • Sales tax (US), VAT (UK), or GST/HST/PST (Canada) will be added at checkout where legally required, based on your location.
  • If your purchase is processed through Digistore24, Digistore24 acts as merchant of record and handles applicable tax collection and remittance on that transaction. If you purchase directly through our own Shopify checkout, we are responsible for any tax obligations tied to that sale.

6. Delivery of Digital Content

Upon successful payment, you will receive access to download your Product(s) immediately or via a confirmation email containing a download link. It is your responsibility to ensure the email address provided at checkout is correct and that our emails are not filtered as spam.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

Because our Products are digital content delivered instantly upon purchase, the rules below apply depending on where you're located.

United States: Digital products are generally sold as final sale once downloaded. Since these are digital guides and not physical products we do NOT offer refunds. "All sales are final."

United Kingdom: Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. However, this right ends once we begin delivering digital content, provided you gave express consent to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you lose your cancellation right — which you do via the checkbox presented at checkout. If that checkbox isn't present on your actual checkout flow, this clause doesn't hold up.

Canada: Consumer protection for online sales is set at the provincial level and varies — for example, Ontario's Consumer Protection Act sets specific disclosure requirements for "Internet agreements," and failing to meet them can extend a customer's cancellation window well beyond what you'd expect.

8. License and Permitted Use

Purchasing a Product grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to download and use the PDF for your own personal or household reference.

You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, or share the PDF files with third parties
  • Upload the Products to file-sharing sites or public repositories
  • Use the content to create derivative or competing products

All content remains the intellectual property of Little Steps.

9. No Medical or Professional Advice

Our Products provide general parenting information and are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or childcare advice. Always consult a qualified pediatrician or relevant professional for concerns about your child's health or development.

10. Liability

We provide our Products "as is." To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our Products. Nothing in these terms limits any liability, or consumer protection right, that cannot be excluded under the law of your jurisdiction.

11. Data Protection

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our [Privacy Policy]. Depending on your location, this may include rights under UK GDPR, applicable US state privacy laws, or Canada's PIPEDA. 

12. Disputes

If you have an issue with a purchase, contact us first at support@littlesteps.one most issues can be resolved directly. Nothing in these terms limits your right to pursue a complaint through your local consumer protection agency.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of GERMANY, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of the country in which you, as a customer, are located.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your order applies to that purchase.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
